Biography
French director and screenwriter of short films at the very beginning of the silent cinema era.
In his youth Georges Hatot discovered the invention of the Lumière brothers, and he made his first short films, aged barely 20 years, from 1896.
He died on 11 August 1959, aged 82, in Paris.
