Biography
American pro baseball pitcher.
He was the son of Larry Haney, a major league catcher with five teams and coach of the Milwaukee Brewers
Chris was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers organization in the free-agent draft pick 6/02/1987: not signing with them, he attended the Univ. of N.C. in Charlotte and was selected by the Montreal Expos in the second round of free-agent draft pick 6/04/1990.
He has played for the Kansas City Royals, 8/29/1992, after the Expos, placed on the disabled list three times with rehabilitation done in the AAA League. At 6' 3", 205 lbs., he throws left, bats left, has appeared in one game as a pinch-runner and has played in the American League for six years and the National League for two years as of 1998.
