French-Canadian female impersonator born as Jean Guida de Mortellaro to wealthy parents in Paris. He took inspiration for his name from the film Gilda with Rita Hayworth. Popular in France and French-speaking Canada, he released several albums. he was bisexual and twice married to a woman. He died on 27 June 2012 in Montreal.
