Biography
French professional basketball playmaker, he was very successfull in his club, ASVEL Villeurbanne, near Lyon, winning 8 times the national championship. As an example of longevity, he performed from 1965 to 1986.
Considered as the best French player of the 20th century, and surnamed "Mr Basket", he retired at the age of 39 after having worn 160 times the "tricolore" jersey for France.
