Biography
French actor who became a priest. He is known for his role in the 1926 film L'Homme à l'Hispano which propelled him to stardom, making him one of the most coveted actors of the time.
Georges Galli was born into a wealthy family. His law studies brought him to Paris. He was an attorney for the firm Métro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
He abandoned the acting profession to enter the seminary, and became the parish priest of Sanary-sur-Mer in the 1960s.
He died on 3 July 1982 in Marseille.
