Biography
German actor, television host, lyricist and businessman best known to a wide German-speaking audience as one of the recurring actors in various Edgar Wallace movies (always playing one of the good guys, often a Detective Inspector with Scotland Yard). In the English-speaking world, he is sometimes credited as Akim Berg or Berger.
Fuchsberger had several strokes since 2003.
Fuchsberger is married since 1954 to Gundula, née Korte. Their son Thomas was born on 5 August 1957 in München. He died 14 Oktober 2010 in Kulmbach by drowning in a river; his death is considered an accident.
Fuchsberger suffered a stroke on 4 June 2013. He died on 11 September 2014 at 10:29 (time unsourced quote from Forum) in Grünwald/München, at age 87.
