Biography
Italian pathologist, a cancer researcher who formulated a pathogenetic theory of tumours, which he called a doctrine of oncogenic imbalance, and subsequently developed an anti-tumour type of biological therapy.
He died in Milan on 21 May 1935, aged 55.
