Biography
Costa Rican educator, writer and diplomat, known mainly for producing the most important national literature of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century. Author of a nostalgic prose by the irretrievable past, whether personal or collective, with which tries to recreate the Costa Rica or childhood memories, from an emotionally close to the facts narrator, spaces and situations described.
He died on 27 September 1956.
