Biography
Born Giovanna degli Albizzi, named Giovanna Tornabuoni after her marriage, was a model for numerous paintings by Domenico Ghirlandaio and Sandro Botticelli.
She married on 15 June 1486, had her first child, Giovannino, on 11 October 1487, and died in childbirth a year later, in October 1488.
