Biography
Peruvian industrial and political entrepreneur. He was also Mayor of Lima (1926-1929), Senator of the Republic and Minister of Finance. Son of Italian Andrea Dasso Hoke Colombo and Mary Josephine Delaney. He studied at the Institute of Lima (now Humboldt College) and the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Subsequently, he studied at the American woodworking machinery Woodworking Machinery Co. of Rochester. He was married on February 2, 1919 with Maria Luisa Valle Valle (daughter of Thomas and Cristina (Valley) Valley, and had 4 children. Lilly, Andrew T., Rosa, and Thomas was president of the Sanguinettti & Dasso, woods. Co., founded by his father who was involved in the urban sprawl of Lima. It was also president of the Carbonera Pallasca Anthracite Company and director of San Luis Gold Mines and the insurance company Rimac.
He died in 1958.
