Biography
American playwright, actor, producer, director and songwriter. He was one of the most versatile figures in the American theater. He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his patriotic song, "Over There," in 1917.
Cohan died 11/05/1942 in New York, New York, of cancer at age 64
