Biography
Archduke of Austria, as a son of Archduke Franz Salvator and Archduchess Marie Valerie.
He assumed the title Prinz von Altenburg on 2 April 1931, and this title was confirmed on him and his children on 15 December 1949. In Vienna on 20 February 1930 he married Elisabeth Gräfin Rességuier de Miremont (Nisko, Galicia, 28 October 1906 - Salzburg, 9 July 2000), and had issue.
He died in Salzburg on 20 August 1974, aged 69.
