Biography
American news commentator. After her promotion to Public Affairs Director of a TV station in Florida, she announced on 7/15/1974, "In keeping with our policy of bringing you the latest in blood and guts in living color, you are going to see another first, an attempted suicide." She then shot herself with a .38 pistol and died 14 hours later in a Sarasota, FL hospital.
