Biography
American Rear Admiral in the United States Coast Guard. He graduated from the Coast Guard Academy in 1933, later going onto Commanding the 11th District and 3rd District of the Coast Guard which consisted of commanding Coast Guard Island. Carpenter retired in 1968. He died on 21 June 1999, aged 88.
