Biography
French physicist who taught industrial electricity from 1895 to 1900 at the Lille Faculty of Science and at the Industrial Institute of the North (Ecole Centrale de Lille). This course originated the creation in 1907 of the Institute of Electro-technology of Toulouse, of which he would become the first director. This institute developed into ENSEEIHT, a general school with five branches, and one of the most renowned in France. He died on 27 January 1966, aged 94, in Lavaur, Tarn, France.
