Biography
Norwegian historian. He was appointed professor at the Norwegian College of Teaching, and wrote a large number of articles and several books, in particular on social history and the history of the Norwegian labour movement.
During the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany he was imprisoned and sent to do physical labour in Kirkenes, and later incarcerated at Grini.
His father was historian and politician Edvard Bull Sr.
Bull died on 15 December 1986 in Trondheim, Norway, aged 72.
