Biography
Costa Rican painter and cultural promoter. She did extensive work for the artistic and cultural development. Along with Francisco Amighetti, she was one of the initiators of mural art in Costa Rica. She also made important contributions to musical activities and the national ballet. She won the Achilles J. Echeverría National Painting Prize in 1967.
She died on 21 November 1975.
