Biography
Norwegian Jewish gardener and victim of the Holocaust. His parents were Jewish immigrants from Lithuania.
In the the four volume work "Våre Falne [Our Fallen] 1939-1945," commissioned by the Norwegian government in 1945 to commemorate those who had perished during the war, Bersohn's entry is in Volume 1, p. 269.
Bersohn was arrested and deported to Germany in the fall of 1942 as part of the Holocaust and was killed together with his father and a brother while imprisoned.
