Peruvian Sociologist, professor, politician and journalist, belonging to the Christian left. He studied ssciology at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (1966-1970). He earned a Masters in Development Policy and Planning from the University Bielefeld in Germany. He worked as a consultant in the National Fund of Social Property (1982-1985) and teaches at the National Jose Faustino Sanchez Carrion de Huacho University since 2001. He was Secretary General of the Political Commission. Participates in the alliance Izquierda Unida in the general elections of Peru 1985, being elected deputy of the Congress of the Republic of Peru for the period 1985 - 1990. It integrates the Christian Democratic Party, with Regional Secretary General in Lima-Provinces, forming Regional Christian Democratic Movement. In the regional elections of 2014 went candidate to the Presidency of the Regional Government of Lima-Provinces by the Frente Amplio.
