Biography
Dutch actor and theatre director.
Bentz van den Berg played many leading roles in both modern and classic plays, specializing as a character actor. He was thrice awarded the prestigious acting award, the Louis d'Or, in 1956, 1958 and 1964.
Bentz van den Berg was married to Mieke van Oorschot and is the father of filmmaker Roel Bentz van den Berg. Han Bentz van den Berg died on 3 July 1976 at age 58 of blood poisoning while on holiday in Drachten.
