Biography
American mathematician and educator, who chaired the American Mathematical Society's Committee on Employment and Educational Policy from 1979 to 1982. She was the second woman president of the Mathematical Association of America. She was a fellow of the American Mathematical Society. Lida Barrett died on 28 January 2021 at age 93 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
