Biography
Italian physicist and professor of experimental physics at the Politecnico di Milano, and a member of the Lincei. He was involved in optical and thermal phenomena by studying, in particular, solar photosphere and atmospheric radiation. He also devoted himself to photoelectricity in Selenium and other materials. He died in Milan in 1965.
