Biography
German cyclist, a sprint champion and one of the outstanding German cyclists of his time together with Willy Arend and Thaddäus Robl.
He was an exception in cycling around the turn of the 20th century because he came from a respected industrial family. His father, Heinrich Albert, owned the Chemical Works H. & E. Albert in Biebrich.
He died on 15 May 1903, aged 27, from severe injuries sustained in a car crash.
