Biography
American singer-songwriter and actor, who works in ranchera, mariachi and pop genres. He is the son of music and film stars Antonio Aguilar and Flor Silvestre (Guillermina Jiménez). Aguilar has won four Grammy Award and four Latin Grammy Awards.
Pepe Aguilar began his career as a solo artist in 1989 with a CD with tambora titled "Pepe Aguilar Con Tambora". To this CD there would be a volume 2 and 3. He runs an independent record label (Equinoccio Records) and studio.
Aguilar received the 2,474th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on 26 July 2012 located at 7060 Hollywood Blvd., which was placed next to the star of his father.
