Biography
Peruvian poet, writer and diplomat, brother of the poet Xavier Abril and father of the painter Francisco Abril de Vivero. He was also an enthusiastic promoter of literature and art; he is remembered mostly for his close friendship with the poet Cesar Vallejo, with whom he maintained a rich correspondence.
He died in Monaco, Monte Carlo, on 11 April 1987.
